I’m not much of a print guy, but when my client asked if I could design some business cards I agreed. It wasn’t so much the idea of doing a business card that intrigued me; it was the client’s request that they be round business cards. Hey-o! Interest: piqued.
And it made sense for me to do the job. After all, I had designed the logo just a few weeks prior and it was round as well. When designing the logo I had ended up using the wonderfully nostalgic Bistro Script, which gives the logo its intended retro flavor. For the business card design, I continued down that 60s-aesthetic path, using slightly muted colors, amusing details like the lightning bolts & a reversed logo watermark.
